Founded by KJ Miller and Amanda E. Johnson in 2017, mented was born out of the belief that people of all skin tones should be able to find themselves in the world of beauty. Together, the Harvard Business School graduates introduced their inclusive range of lip shades—all of which are ultra-creamy, deeply moisturizing, and highly pigmented. Following the immediate success of its lip category, the New York-based brand launched foundations, blushes, eyeshadow palettes, and more makeup bag must-haves.
